2012
As part of the G1015 Zwin Nature Center project, the tourist infrastructure on the Dutch side of the nature reserve is also renewed. The old beach pavilion is being demolished, except for the foundation plate. The existing closed building volume makes way for a light steel canopy construction under which a narrow volume acts as a windshield. This wooden wall opens up a series of sanitary rooms at its rear. The new beach pavilion works as information and gathering point for visitors to the Zwin nature reserve.
