Digital Samizdat

This Solar furnace is located in Parkent, Uzbekistan. It’s about an hour drive from the center of Tashkent, the capital. It’s only accessible with a special authorisation. We went there during the afternoon. The drive was pleasant, it was a relief to get out of Tashkent. We came across several monuments from the soviet times.
